Magnat‘s Monitor Supreme series has been designed for hi-fi enthusiasts who are able to
appreciate an unbeatable price-performance ratio. To this end, Magnat deliberately chose not
to use expensive visual gimmicks – but also not to make any compromises in regard to sound!
The Monitor Supreme series is the result of painstaking development work, complex sessions
in the audio lab and results achieved with highly modern engineering. The drive units are all
designs that have benefited from the know-how acquired working on Magnat‘s legendary
Quantum series. The bass, mid-range drivers and tweeters were all fine tuned using the Klippel®
laser measuring system. The drivers have sturdy metal baskets and highly powerful magnets. The
bass and mid-range speakers are fitted with six screws (except MS 2500, Center and 200). Both
use specially coated paper cones, which considerably reduce resonance while saving weight.
The aim of this measure is to perfect the precision of music reproduction and to re-create the
maximum dynamic range. A 25 millimetre fabric dome covers the high frequency range (Monitor
Supreme 100 and Center – 13 mm Mylar foil), which is fitted with an ERA front panel which
in turn was developed from the Quantum series. The ERA front panel delivers a more even
dispersion and a linear reproduction in the treble range. The crossover filter is responsible for
the music signals taking the correct course. A high-quality design including phase correction and
18 dB/octave slopes features throughout the Monitor Supreme series.
The cabinets design is also an impressive visual and technical achievement. Their
manufacture from robust MDF almost entirely eliminates unwanted cabinet colouration. The
Monitor Supreme speakers are available in a variety of high-quality wood decors and are
highlighted with a chic black baffle. The extra thick wood cabinet is available in the following
colors and designs: black and mocca decor.
The larger free-standing models may be coupled firmly to the floor by metal or rubber spikes
depending on choice. Gold-plated screw terminals are used throughout the range (except on
the Monitor Supreme 100 compact loudspeaker) to allow a perfect connection to the amplifier.
The new 3-way Monitor Supreme 2500 floor-standing speaker acts as the only floor-standing
speaker of the series with a built-in side tweeter. With this arrangement of the largest driver on
the side of the MDF cabinet, the speaker has a fairly narrow front of only 19 mm.
The subwoofers with their own powerful amplifiers have naturally been adapted to the speakers‘
technical requirements and incorporate powerful long-throw drive units. The output levels on this
front-firing bass system are fully controllable and with the provision of an infinitely adjustable
crossover frequency control, allows the Subwoofers be perfectly matched to any size of speaker.

Selected models of the Monitor Supreme series called „Piano Black“ are
available with an elegant front in a black piano finish - always in combination
with the standard body color Ash Decor Black.
The Piano Black versions of Monitor Supreme 200, Monitor Supreme 800 and
the Monitor Supreme Set 800 (Monitor Supreme 800, 100 and Center 250)
are available with a high-glossy baffle.
