    The Wise Elder, the Wise Chief, in the Council. The perfect nation needs no movement, Needs no war, Possesses only what it can use, Works only for the common good, Grasps life tightly and happily, Does not recognize wealth, Lives only within the gifts of the Mother, Gives and takes in equal measure, Places no man above another, Remains true to each brother and sister, Listens everyday to the Great Spirit. This cannot happen, you say! It can never be so, you say! Look to history And know that it has been done in the most quiet places.
