on different occasions , in different places like : birthdays , wedding ,
having new born babies , graduation and returning from the hajj.
There are many activities which can
be enjoyed during family celebrations. People can listen to music, chat,
discuss the latest news and play games. They can also prepare popcorn
and watch movie together. They share happiness together while
gathering.
The baby shower is an example of celebrations. The source of this habit
is purely American. This party is usually held before the birth of the
baby. The pregnant mother in the last months has chosen a list of gifts
related to the newborn from a specific stores; and what the invitees
have to do is to go to that stores and choose the gift suits their
purchasing power from the list. It is intended to help the mother
financially in purchasing the child’s belongings. It is intended to
welcome the parents into parenthood. It is also intended to help and
show friendship to new parents. The gifts are things which are needed
to care for the new baby, such as cribs, prams, clothing or toys. They
are normally given to the first child. All people clapped and cheered
when they learned that she was a girl. We took some memorable
pictures.
