Sustainability with HSBC

At Company A, we are focused on achieving our supply chain and sustainability

goals. While we have been working closely with our supply chain in the areas of
Water Stewardship and Worker Wellbeing, via our Code of Conduct, we
recognise the need to deliver greater progress on the reduction in our
Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, 75% of which are scope 3 emissions.

As much of these emissions sit within our supply chain, we are partnering with
HSBC to support our supplier’s business and sustainability ambitions with access
to lower-cost financing through the bank’s Sustainable Supply Chain Finance
solution.

funding for our suppliers and help them to take positive steps toward building a

With the Sustainable Supply Chain Finance (SSCF) Programme, suppliers can
benefit from interest rates linked to their performance against our environmental
and social standards as outlined in our Code of Conduct. Suppliers are eligible to
receive higher scores as they invest in sustainability solutions. Suppliers who
receive higher sustainability scores can access lower interest rates through
SSCF.
