EMCEE SCRIPT FOR PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, the ceremony would

be starting shortly, please take your seats.

Panel of respective judges, ladies, and gentlemen.

Assalamualaikum and a very good morning
WELCOME to the (ZONE/DISTRICT) Level public speaking
competition 2024.

As a start, I would like to invite our honorable judges and the

time keeper to take their seats.

First, let me introduce to all of you the judges and the chief
judge for today’s competition.

 Before we proceed further this morning, do allow me to give
a brief explanation on this competition.
 The competition is open to Year 4 to Year 6
pupils only from government-aided primary
RULES AND
REGULATIONS schools

 Contestants are to observe the following info

 Points will be allocated according to the scoresheet.

 Judges will collectively determine the placing by a
clear majority vote
 The decision of the judges is final. No appeal is
allowed.
 Individual marks will not be disclosed.
 The topic presented must not touching any sensitive
issue about race and religion or any sexual remarks


Time allocated to present the story is 4 to minutes. The bell

will be rung once at the 4th minute and the bell will be rung
twice at the 6 minute, indicating the time is up

Ladies and gentlemen, as a kind reminder, please lower

down your voices and ensure that your mobile phones are
switch off or turn into silent mode as this is a formal event.
Videos are not allowed to be recorded during the
competition. The recording is only be allowed for your
own school.

Thank you to our last contestant for today.

With that, all contestants have delivered their speech. All the
contestants and teachers are required to remain inside the
hall.

We are taking a short break for awhile to give time for our
honourable judges to calculate the marks. We will continue
our event with the closing ceremony and the announcement
of the winners.
