Vision provides the focus for all aspects of organizational life, informs planning
and the development of policies. These 3 programs are offered in University of
Cebu:
•Academic and Working scholarships- a grant or payment made to support a
student's education, awarded on the basis of academic or other achievement
• TESDA Recognized/ Accredited Programs- aims to make them productive by
tapping its youth for technical vocational
•NSA Programs- develop young and competent Filipino seafarers through grants
and best maritime education.

2. It is a great challenge for me as a students in this university to meet the highest

expectations of our community. By UC's mission and core values, it helps me to
fine-tune my focus and provide all the clarity I need to ensure priorities are still in
line with student learning. If I fail to do this, I have no road map for what I want to
do or where I wish to go. Through this UC's mission and core values, I learn to
understand the relationship between students’ academic achievement and
emotional well-being. It also help me to shape the world through independence,
creativity and critical thinking.
