4. Rationale for the inclusion of the course in the programme:
Refrigeration fundamentals subject provides the knowledge of the basic refrigeration components and accessories in the refrigeration system. Student will be
familiarised with the basic refrigerant term and will be able convert various temperature scale and pressure. In this subject student are also exposed to
enthalpy and psychrometric chart students which are important parameter for diagnose the system.

Moldier with basic refrigeration cycle together with identification on the types of refrigeration and air conditioning system and its operation.
