PROSECUTORS (SUBORDINATE COURT) TO CONDUCT CBI CASES IN THE
TRIAL COURTS AT VISAKHAPATNAM, VIJAYAWADA AND KURNOOL IN THE
STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH

1. CBl, ACB, Visakhapatnam intends to empanel / engage Special Public Prosecutors

(Subordinate Court) to conduct CBI Cases in the Trial Courts of Visakhapatnam,
Vijayawada and Kurnool in State of Andhra Pradesh. ln this regard, applications
are invited from the eligible advocates for empanelment / engagement as Special
Public Prosecutors (Subordinate Court) in CBI to conduct CBI Cases in the Trial
Courts of Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Kurnool in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

2. Professional Fee: The professional fee of the Advocates will be governed by the
terms & conditions contained in DoPT F No 22511912023-AVD-ll dated 08.04.2024
(Copy enclosed)

3. Eligibility Criteria: The following points may be kept in view, while submitting the
request for the empanelment/engagement of CBI Special Public Prosecutors
(Subordinate Court) to conduct CBI Cases in the Trial Courts of Visakhapatnam,
Vijayawada and Kurnool in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

(i) Educational Qualification: LLB

(ii) Enrolment Certificate as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
(iii) Experience at BAR of handling criminal matters in sessions courts.
(iv) Unconditional willingness / consent to work on the general terms &
conditions approved by Government of lndia from time to time.
(v) Details of important cases handled by the applicant advocate.
(vi) A minimum standing of 10 years as an Advocate is required for
considering an Advocate for CBI Special Public Prosecutors (Subordinate
Court), who have experience in handling criminal matters).
4. Period: Minimum 03 Years

5. Nature of Job: To conduct cBl cases in the Trial courts of visakhapatnam,

Vijayawada and Kurnool in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

6. Documents to be submitted along with the application - Following documents

be submitted along with application
(i) Proof of Education Qualifications
(ii) Enrolment Certificate as an Advocate with Bar Council
(iii) Experience at BAR of handling criminal matters in Sessions Courts
(iv)Anunconditionalwillingness/consenttoworkonthegeneralterms&
conditional approved by Government of lndia from time to time
(v) Details of important cases handled by the applicant advocate

7. The complete application in prescribed format along with the requisite documents
shall be submitted through online link in cBl website www.cbi.qov.in. lncomplete
applications and applications submitted offline shall not be considered. Further, no
application shall be entertained by cBl, which is submitted after last date of
submission of aPPlication.
