BASIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Minimum hours required are 9 hours per day Monday to Friday except breakdowns. 6 hours Saturday and Sundays unless otherwise stated, and inclement
weather at 50% of rate. Minimum 6 hours will be charge for induction and plant inspection, unless otherwise agreed. Excess overtime will be charged
accordingly.
2. Rates exclude Ground Engaging Tools (G.E.T) e.g. tips, blades, end bits etc. sullied by owner for hire’s account and additional fitting charge if fitted by
owner, an official order require for each set to be fitted.
3. Rates are quoted for Windhoek, unless otherwise stated.
4. Our rates do not include operators, operators can be provided and quoted for based on expertise required, Operator overtime f or Hire’s account, if
applicable.
5. S&T’s for operators working outside of Windhoek are for the Hire’s account.
6. Accommodation by Hire for Hire’s account. Induction, Medical etc., for Hire’s account. Induction period operators and equipment, days to be determined
prior to commencement hire, if applicable.
7. a) Any abnormal usage of tyres will be for Hire’s account, due to abnormal working/site conditions. Puncture repairs by site for Hire’s account, if done by
owner additional charge, official order number for each puncture repair will be required.
b) Excessive wear and tear on any part of the machine including but not limited to the undercarriage, bucket, turntable etc. will be for Hire’s account, if
applicable.
8. On and Off Hire of equipment and any queries with regard to hire to be directed to EquipMe, within 12 hour of incident.
9. A 24 Hour notice period is required to off hire Equipment not on contract.
10. Excess – Hire is responsible for excess of equipment in the event of theft, damage or gross negligence.
11. All-Risk insurance to be arranged by customer.
12. Payments of invoice due 7 days after invoice, interest and late penalties will be applied thereafter.
13. Payments within 7 days after invoicing 10% discount
14. Payments within 15 days after invoicing 5% discount
15. Rental is month to month, a month closing on 25th and invoice on the 26th
16. Machine will be stopped on the 15 th day after invoicing with full cost if no payment has been received.
17. 2.5% interest will be charged monthly on payments that exceeds 30 days.
18. The rates quoted, receipt of an official signed order, are subject to availability and valid for two weeks from date of above.
19. Prices quoted do not include establishment and de-establishment of plant, which will need to be paid in advance, or arrangement made.
20. On commencement of hire, all signed weekly timesheets to be provided by hirer to EquipMe to be emailed through to our offices every M onday to
admin@krcg.net in the event time sheet are NOT received minimum of 9 hours will be charged per day.
21. Should we have not written reply within 24 hours of sending this quote, we accept that you agree with our rates andconditions.
22. In receipt of an official signed order and the EquipMe Agreements with agreed upon deposit, prior to commencement of hire.
23. As per all agreements with EquipMe Plant Hire (Pty) Ltd will not be held liable if client does not comply to the Governing Las and Acts of the Namibian
Government.
24. The responsibility for the safekeeping of the plant lies with the hirer at all times whilst in the hirer’s possession and any loss or damage caused will be for
the Hirer’s account.
25. EquipMe Plant Hire (Pty) Ltd is not responsible for the loss of contracts or profits, indirect, special or consequential damages, injury or death of any nature.
26. Each item is taken as a separate entity and will not affect the charges “knock on effect” of another item unless are expressly said to be a package and this is
done in writing on company letterhead. Only item on breakdown can be claimed.
27. Any Queries, breakdowns etc must be communicated to the owner in writing within a 12 hour period of incident. No credit or cl aim will be entertained
should notice period lapse.
28. This Quote is subject to availability. Please note should a booked hire be cancelled by yourself, 48 hours before the hire co mmences a cancellation fee of
N$9’500.00 Exc VAT will automatically be charged to your account for potential loss of income. Please refer to conditions of hire.
