Fire Fighting Training Facility

Emergency Preparedness and Response is a core element in all effective safety plans.
Being able to anticipate and prevent disasters from occurring is the most important as-
pect of safety, yet it is gravely important as well to have the ability and readiness to act in
case of a failure in preventive measures.

Fires are one of the primary hazards on construction sites. They can lead to a disastrous
outcome if not controlled and contained in a timely and professional manner.

MC-5’s Prime Contractor ABV Rock understand this concept and has established a Fire
Fighting Training Facility in their designated laydown yard. Both verbal and practical train-
ing sessions are provided to participants. The training is delivered by the ABV Rock HSE
Manager who is a certified instructor and a former Fire Chief.
