A Rainy Day
It had been raining all day. Eric and his dog Coco sat at
the front door. They looked out at the rain. Both the boy
and the dog looked very sad. They were going to the park
but now they could not go.
Mum came to the door. “We can still go to the park. It’s
just a little rain. It won’t hurt us,” she said.
Eric jumped up and gave his mum a hug. Coco jumped up
too, his tail wagging.
“Go get your boots and Coco’s lead,” said Mum.
Both the boy and the dog ran off to get ready. Soon, they
were at the park, having fun and playing in the mud.
