About the Institute
Future Institute of Technology and Future insti-
tute of Engineering and Management was estab-
lished by a core group of academicians from IIM
Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur, Jadavpur University and
other professionals in the field of management
and engineering with the objective of develop-
ing and integrated centre for education, train-
ing, research and consultancy with academic
and technical quality as the basic drivers, Excel-
lent academic environment has been created to
motivate students, empower them with the
courage of knowledge and skill, and inspire
them to take decisions for creating value. With
a counting dedication to the pursuit of excel-
lence in teaching & providing knowledge, the
institutes offer offers unmatched learning expe-
rience for students, across a board spectrum of
academic fields. Our Strategic collaborations,
industry-oriented pedagogy and strong indus-
try network enhances the student preparedness

Campus Facilities
Both campuses are located at convenient
locations with a green and stimulating environ-
ment for academics and all-round development of
students,. The built-up institutional area of FIEM
currently measures four lacs square feet and FIT
measures about 2 Lacs square feet with state o-f
the- art physical and virtual library and computing
facilities with 24 24 X 7 lease line connectivity. The

Workshops and Laboratories

FIEM currently has 72 and FIT has 48 , state-of-the-art workshop and laboratories those are highly
acclaimed by the academia and industry for their Infrastructure standards.
Computer Centre
The central computing facilities along with special
purpose and departmental advanced computer
labs consists of state-of –art features with 1760 plus
Dual Core Computer at present connected through
structured LAN and 16 Maps leased line internet
connectivity.
Library Facilities
The institute library has online access through
LIBSYS and a commendable collection of over
1,10,000 books and periodicals, Moreover, the
libraries subscribe to over 200 international and
national journals including e-journals. The Insti-
tute also has Digital Library facility that possess-
es phenomenal collection books, project
reports, question paper.

Eligibility
Passing in Higher Secondary (10 +2) examination of
the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West
Bengal or equivalent.

Hackathon 2019 organized at IIT Rookie.
• Young Innovators, Soumesh and Ratul From FIEM, Department of EE were chosen
to be one of the top six teams among 125 participants to exhibit their innovation at
Aero India 2019-Student Pavilion.
• Sahil Khan , Sourin das, Faruk Ahamed, Shantanu Ghosh From FIEM, Department
of EE won INAE YOUTH CONCLAVE at IIT Kharagpur
• Five Students from FIEM, Department of EE namely Tiash Ghosh, Ratul Kishore
Saha, Arabinda Bose, Amith Achuthanunni, Somesh Kumar Sngha were shortlisted
to present their project, QuadCopter in the final round of DRDO Robotics and
Unmanned Systems Exposition , DRUSE’18 AT Pune.
