Begin by crafting a culture medium using tomatoes as the primary ingredient. This can
be achieved by the chopped tomatoes, which serves as a nutritious substrate for the
flies. Afterwards transfer the chopped tomatoes into clean jar, providing ample space
for the Drosophila to navigate. This jar serves as their living environment.

We then observe that the fruit flies tend to explore their surroundings, flying and
walking around to familiarize themselves with the available space. They also might
engage in feeding activities, exploring the provided food source (chopped tomatoes).

Sex Identification
After multiple trials we then identify the male and female fruit flies, and these
selected flies were placed on Tupperware.
During mating: We observe that the male positions himself near the female,
frequently tapping her with his forelegs. The male may extend also vibrate his wings,
showcasing to the female is also observed.

Egg-laying Behaviors
During this process, we observe that the female drosophila carefully selecting a
suitable location for laying her eggs (usually white and very small, often challenging
to see without magnification). And according to what we’ve read, female fruit flies
typically prefer laying eggs on decaying or fermenting fruits, vegetables or other
organic matter.

And then, the emergence of adult flies from pupae and continuation of life cycle
stages, potential for increased population.
