Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
with a fellowship amount of
Rs 37,000/- + HRA per month in a SERB Sponsored Project entitled "Heritable priming
by plant
Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR): A New Strategy for Wheat protectio-n
Against
Biotic Stress" (Code no P-07l1319). The post is temporary and co-terminus
with the project.
The candidates shouldbe M.Sc. Botany/ Life Science/ Biotechnology/
Biochemistry/ Microbiology/
Biosciences (with 55oh and above) and_must have qualified
JRFNET/GATE. The upper age liiiit
shall be 35 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female
CunaiAutJr). The
candidates with experience in the area of metabolomics, bioinfoimatics,
molecular biology,
epigenetics or related field will be preferred. All things being equal, SC/ST
candidates will be
preferred as per GOI rules.
