Incentives for top 20 %Institute wise faculty performers
1. Certificate of Appreciation - no trophy / no cash prize
2. One day in a week academically free on priority through timetable adjustment for better research or other work at the
purview of HOD and Director.
3. One theory subject of his/her choice in load which he/she can teach to 2 or 3 divisions at the purview of HOD and Director.
This will reduce his/her preparation time to concentrate more on research. No reduction in work load it is only adjustment in
academic workload.
4. Faculty will be given additional special leaves for 4 days in an academic year as an appreciation.
5. Cash Prize may be considered to the faculties who performed consistently in top 20% Institute wise for consecutive 3
years.

# Reprimands for faculty if he/she is in Bottom 20 % department and not fulfilling mandatory conditions
 Summer vacation will be reduced to zero - the same will be utilised to better his/her performance so that his/her name is not
there in bottom 20%
 Yearly salary increment may be delayed or kept on hold.
 No DA rise will be given.
 Recognitions/appreciations will be avoided to be given to such faculty - in whatsoever form may be - hard copy/ social media/
any other digital platform.
 Faculty will not be given any remuneration (if any), for the assigned activity.
 Automated warning letters/ show cause notices will be issued from the ERP itself - no discretion at Institute level. This task
will to be repeated at least four times in a year.

only ‘Exam Duties’ point as specified in ‘Sr No 2’ under ‘mandatory conditions’ will be considered as complete.
