The digital world is the availability and use of digital tools to communicate on the
Internet, digital devices, smart devices and other technologies.

UNDERSTANDING DIGITAL WORLD FROM A PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE

• Includes our online presence and how it shapes how others see you.

• Includes the content you share and the image you project on social media and
safeguarding personal information to prevent any sort of misuse.

• Balancing use of media is very important.

• Being digital has its benefits and issues.

• It helps us improve our necessary skills in communication.

• But it can negatively impact our mental health and social life as well.

• Therefore, it is up to us to use gadgets and media wisely.

UNDERSTANDING DIGITAL WORLD FROM A NATIONAL/LOCAL PERSPECTIVE

• Involves the state of a country’s digital infrastructure: broadband access,


network reliability, and connectivity in urban and rural areas

• Explores how governments use digital platforms to provide services to citizens


(e.g., online tax filing, digital permits, government websites).

• Analyzes the role of digital technologies in the national economy, including the
growth of e-commerce, digital payment systems, and the impact on traditional
industries.

• Considers the role of digital technologies in national security, including defence


systems
