Refinery & Oil Mill Assesment Report
Refinery & Oil Mill Assesment Report
Refinery & Oil Mill Assesment Report
Built area – 4000 M2 (approx. no drawings were available) – 3 stores, oil mill room, refined oil
storage room and refinery production rooms
Oil Mill :
Plant consist of 40 TPD double pressing expellers (4 nos, 2 first press, 2 final press) and all
related equipment. Plant design as follows
Bag emptying
Destoner / cooker
system by a Seeds cracker
seperator conditioner
suction blower
Cooker
Pre press 2 Pre press 1 Seeds flaker
conditioner
vertical PLF
oil collection
Final press 1 Final press 2 filter with
tank
piston pump
horzontal plate
& frame filter
Common utilities which are available on site are – Wood burn boiler, vertical fuel burn boiler,
cooling tower with pump room, Generator and transformer, low pressure compressor.
In oil mill section, all equipment’s are in bad condition with major over haul works required.
Boiler and cooling tower are in good condition.
Refinery section
Plant consist of 40 TPD batch refinery suitable for SF, CS, GN, NS etc. Plant design is as follows,
neutralizing kettle - bleaching section -
crude oil tank oil storage tank
2 nos, 10 Ton each 2 reaction tanks
continuous
dryer - 2 continuous
Deodorizer column Bleaching PLF filter
bleached oil tank driers with vaccum
with single chamber 40 TPD continuous
system
design
In refinery section, equipment’s are in better condition and with minor repair works, it can be
operational.
To convert the refinery to continuous refinery, it need complete redesigning and should add
neutralizing section with separators, reactor, heat exchangers and continuous dosing system.
Current value:
As per the current assessment of the building and equipment’s the cost estimates as follows
Oil mill – 60,000 USD (except conveyor system and PLF filter, rest all in
bad condition)
Land – not sure about the land price, the land has currently 90 years lease contract
Oil mill rehabilitation – includes, replacing the completing electrical panel, repairing the worms
and screws of expellers, replacing belts, repairing gear boxes, fixing valves, bags emptying
system overhauling, PLF filter leaves replacement, piston pump repair, steam lines replacement
and conveyor repair
Refinery Rehabilitation – complete CIP, hydraulic test, pumps repair, PLF filter leaves,
barometric condenser repair, insulation works, electrical panel repair and gear boxes
maintenance
Boiler – complete hydraulic test, body & tubes inspection, valves repair, piping maintenance
Incase to upgrade the refinery to continuous refinery, it needs around 650,000 EURO
investment to have a capacity of 50 TPD with Neutralizing, Bleaching, Dewaxing & Deodorizing
sections.
