Accessory Installation

The unit contains below accessories Notes


Before starting installation of the unit, make sure the wiring is connected properly.
Use only the parts provided with the unit to ensure proper installation.
The use of unauthorized parts may cause malfunction.
Install the unit where it does not get in the driver’s way and will not injure the passenger in case
there is a sudden stop, like an emergency stop.

Installation

• Insert Half Sleeve into dash-board hole and bend mount tabs outwards to fix it (see
figure 1).
• If necessary, place the mount strap at the rear of the unit and fix it with provided

Un-Installation

Insert the supplied release keys into the unit and pull the unit out with keeping the release keys.

Insertion of the operating panel Screen Panel and Front Panel

In order to activate the car radio, you first have to insert the operating panel. First slide the
operating panel in a slightly tilted position from the left into the right holder and then press it
against the casing until it audibly snaps into place. Now you can turn on the device. If the device
was turned on when the operating panel was removed, it will automatically turn on with the last
setting (radio, Disc, SD/MMC, USB, AUX IN) as soon as the operating panel is inserted again.

Removal of the operating panel (theft protection)

In order to remove the operating panel and thus protect your car radio from theft, turn off the
device with the on/off button. Now press the REL button. The operating panel then releases from
the device and you can detach it towards the front and left. Place the operating panel into the
provided case and take it with you when you leave the car.

Changing the battery Function


To change the battery, the battery compartment can be pulled out towards the front. Now replace the 1 Standby / Mute
old battery with a new one of the same type (CR 2025). Please pay attention to the polarity ("+ pole" to 2 Monitor In / Out

Usage of Remote Control


The buttons of the remote control fulfill the same functions as the buttons with the same names on the
device. Bluetooth functions are described in detail in the Bluetooth Chapter.

Front Connections

AV IN
The AV IN (3.5 inch connection in the front) is a connection with which you can connect external audio
and video devices through their headphone or AUX output with this device. The audio or video tracks
played back on these devices are then put out through the car speakers and seen on screen. This is how

Please touch the white icon “X” (right lower corner) to exit the menu and return to the display that was
there prior to the activation of the menu. The menu automatically disappears if no action has been
performed ten seconds after the last entry.
