Accessory Installation

The unit contains below accessories Notes

Before starting installation of the unit, make sure the wiring is connected properly.
Use only the parts provided with the unit to ensure proper installation.
The use of unauthorized parts may cause malfunction.
Install the unit where it does not get in the driver’s way and will not injure the passenger in case
there is a sudden stop, like an emergency stop.

Installation

• Insert Half Sleeve into dash-board hole and bend mount tabs outwards to fix it (see
figure 1).
• If necessary, place the mount strap at the rear of the unit and fix it with provided

Insertion of the operating panel Screen Panel and Front Panel

In order to activate the car radio, you first have to insert the operating panel. First slide the
operating panel in a slightly tilted position from the left into the right holder and then press it
against the casing until it audibly snaps into place. Now you can turn on the device. If the device
was turned on when the operating panel was removed, it will automatically turn on with the last
setting (radio, Disc, SD/MMC, USB, AUX IN) as soon as the operating panel is inserted again.

Removal of the operating panel (theft protection)

In order to remove the operating panel and thus protect your car radio from theft, turn off the
device with the on/off button. Now press the REL button. The operating panel then releases from
the device and you can detach it towards the front and left. Place the operating panel into the
provided case and take it with you when you leave the car.

Changing the battery Function

To change the battery, the battery compartment can be pulled out towards the front. Now replace the 1 Standby / Mute
old battery with a new one of the same type (CR 2025). Please pay attention to the polarity ("+ pole" to 2 Monitor In / Out

Usage of Remote Control

The buttons of the remote control fulfill the same functions as the buttons with the same names on the
device. Bluetooth functions are described in detail in the Bluetooth Chapter.

Front Connections

AV IN
The AV IN (3.5 inch connection in the front) is a connection with which you can connect external audio
and video devices through their headphone or AUX output with this device. The audio or video tracks

For this function, the stations stored under the station buttons of a particular wave length are scanned
for about 5 seconds. In order to begin scanning, briefly press the “PSCN” button on the screen or on the
Remote Control. The station positions “1” - “6” will begin flashing on the display in sequence and the
corresponding stations will be scanned. When the monitor is open, the currently scanned memory
position has a lighted background and PRESET will be indicated on the display. To remain at the currently
scanned station, press the “P.SCAN” button or the PSCN field again. Then the setting will remain at the
last scanned station. If no entry is made by the end of the complete search, the device will play the first
station on the corresponding level (e.g. F1 or FM 1).
LOC function
The “LOCAL” function is relevant for the station search. Here you can select whether only local, strong
stations (“ON”) or also weaker, more distant stations (“OFF”) are searched for. You can activate the
function by briefly pressing the screen button “LOC” once. Then the button switches colors from grey to
white. This function can be turned off again by pressing the screen button "LOC" once more. Then the
color changes from white to grey again.
STMO function
The “STMO” function enables you to switch back and forth between mono and stereo playback in FM
mode. This is especially useful when the stereo signal of the selected radio station doesn’t carry an ideal
strength. In order to activate the “STMO” function, please press the screen button “STMO” once briefly.

RDS
RDS is an information system whose signals are additionally broadcast by most FM stations. With RDS
programs, the name of the program appears as an abbreviation on the display. Further information, such
as frequency, time and program type (PTY) can be faded in. An RDS program will be broadcast by
several senders on different frequencies (alternative frequencies). If an RDS program has been selected,
the device automatically switches to the alternative frequency that can be received most clearly, as long
as that is available and the AF function has been turned on. You can read the RDS information when the
monitor is open. The time, RDS station name and frequency will appear on the display.
Traffic announcements (“TA”), traffic program (“TP“)
Long press the “AF/TP” button on the device or short press TP button on remote control to activate/
deactivate the traffic announcement program. When the monitor is closed, the message “TA” will be
displayed when this function is activated, when the monitor is open, the display will jump to the RDS
submenu and you can also switch this function on or off by pressing on-screen TP button.

Alternative frequencies (“AF“)
Briefly press the “AF/TP” button or AF button on remote control to activate/deactivate the “AF” function.
When the monitor is open, the display will jump to the RDS submenu and you can also switch this
function on or off by pressing on-screen AF button.
The RDS program will be automatically searched and received. After turning on, if the RDS signal is weak
or even no signal, the unit will search another frequency with this RDS program.
Radio reception conditions
In the FM wave band, there can be changes in the reception conditions during the drive. Mountains,
buildings or bridges can diminish reception. This applies especially if the distance to the station is large.
Enhanced Other Networks (EON)
The “EON” function is an additional RDS service. If the current program doesn’t offer any traffic
announcements, EON automatically switches to the traffic announcements on another program. After the
end of the announcement, the device switches back to the previously heard station. The readiness for
traffic announcements “TA” has to be activated for this. To turn the EON function on or off, please
switch to the RDS menu.
Regional programs (“REG“)
Some radio stations divide their programs into regional programs with different content at specific times.
If the reception is getting worse, the “REG” function prevents the car radio from changing to alternative
frequencies that have different program contents. To turn the “REG” function on or off, enter the RDS
menu and select REG ON or OFF or long press AF button on remote control.
PTY (Program Type)
Many radio stations give codes to individual programs according to their type (e.g. Culture, Music). The
unit allow you to select the type of program required, and will search for a station broadcasting that type
of program.
1. Press PTY button to turn on the PTY function.
2. Press and hold this button for at least 2 seconds to display the current selected PTY type.
3. Turn the volume dial on the device or press VOL+/- button on remote control to select between
different PTY types.
4. Press PTY button to start searching for the program of the selected PTY type.
5. Press PTY button again to switch off PTY function.
RDS Time and Date (CT-Clock Time)
Part of the RDS data is used to transmit the current time and date. The clock will automatically set itself
for summer and winter time changes. It will also take account of leap years and, if traveling in a foreign
country, will adjust between different time zones.

DVD/SD/USB Mode Operations
Insert / remove disc
To insert a disc (CD/VCD/DVD), slide it into the disc insertion slot with the printed side up, the device will
play the disc automatically. To eject the disc, press the “EJ” button and remove the ejected data carrier.
When the monitor is open, the screen menu is also available to you for the ejection of the data carrier.
Inserting / removing SD/MMC
Insert a SD/MMC data carrier with the contacts towards the bottom into the SD/MMC card slot until it
audibly snaps into position. To remove the card, press the card to be removed lightly into the device until
it snaps out. Afterwards you can remove the card from the slot.
Selecting DVD/SD CARD/USB as the program source
Press the “MODE” button to select DVD (CD/VCD/DVD disc)/SD CARD (SD/MMC)/USB mode, when the
monitor is open, the screen menu is also available for the selection of the program source.
Displaying the current mode information
Press and hold DISP button on remote control for at least 2 seconds to switch on/off the displaying of
current mode information (e.g. current playing time).
Playback / pause / stop
To pause the playback, briefly press the “Play/Pause” button. To continue the playback, press the
“Play/Pause” button again. To end the playback, briefly press the "Stop" button on the Remote Control.
When the monitor is open, the hidden screen menu is also available to you for these functions.
Selecting tracks
By briefly pressing the  button, the playback jumps to the next track. If you press the ( button, the
playback returns to the beginning of the current track. If the ( button is pressed twice, the playback
jumps back to the previous track. When the monitor is open, the hidden screen menu is also available to
you for these functions. You can also press digit 0-9 buttons on remote control to select the desired
track/chapter.
Fast forward and rewind
To fast forward/rewind, briefly press the (/( button from the Remote control or from the hidden screen
menu or long press the (/( button on the device
GOTO Function
Press and hold GOTO button on remote control in disc/USB/SD/MMC card mode to enter GOTO mode
and set chapter/title/time (for DVD), track/time (for VCD/CD/MP3) directly. Intro (only for DVD/VCD/ CD)
Press INT button on remote control to activate/deactivate Intro function.
Repeat
Press RPT button on remote control to activate repeat function, press it repeatedly to activate following

1. Press A-B button on the remote at the starting point of the section you want to repeat (point A).

For random playback, press the RDM button on the Remote Control.
Programming the Playback (only for CD/VCD/DVD)
1. Press PROG button on the remote control and hold for at least 2 seconds to open program menu.
2. Use cursor buttons to select the program position and use digit 0-9 buttons to select the desired track
(e.g. to select the 23rd track, press digit 2 button and hold for 2 seconds, and then press digit 3 button).
3. Move the cursor to START to start the program play.
4. Move the cursor to STOP to stop the program play and clear the programmed list.
Selecting Different Audio Modes (only for DVD/VCD)
During DVD disc playback, press AUDIO button on remote control repeatedly to select the audio
language to listen. This function will not work if a disc does not support multi-language audio.
During VCD disc playback press AUDIO button on the remote control to select the channel: MONO LEFT
=> MONO RIGHT =>STEREO.
Selecting subtitle language (only for DVD)
If your DVD disc supports multi-language subtitle, press SUBTITLE button on the remote control
repeatedly to switch among disc-supported languages.
Menu Navigation (only for DVD)
Title playing:
- Press MENU button on the remote control to activate the disc root menu list on the screen.
- Use cursor buttons to choose the desired title and press ENTER button to play it, or press digit buttons
directly to play the desired title.
Zoom
The zoom function gives you the option of having the images and films displayed in an enlarged or
reduced format. To activate the zoom function and choose different zoom value, press the ZOOM button
on the remote control for at least 2 seconds repeatedly.
Playing back MP3/WMA/OGG Vorbis/JPG/DIVX files
In addition to audio CDs/SD/MMC card/USB, the device can also play back music/video files in the MP3,
WMA, OGG Vorbis, DIVX formats. Insert a corresponding data carrier into the device and select this as
the playback source. To get to the desired folder or the desired track, please use the cursor buttons on
remote control to navigate. If you press the button to the right, you will reach the contents of the
selected folder or additional information about the currently selected title. If you press the button to the
left, you will return to the higher level folder.
If the files stored on the data carrier have been supplied with ID3 tags or comparable tag information,
these will be indicated in the right half of the window during the playback.

This function allows you to display JPG images on the screen. You can use this function for CD/DVD data

option of selecting the individual images or the navigation. By pressing the ENTER button you will
confirm your selection.

Rotating an image
During the slide show, you have the option of rotating the current image clockwise/anticlockwise by
pressing the cursor left/right button on remote control or the on screen hidden menu.

DUAL ZONE ( Rear seat entertainment)

The device has a second playback level (dual zone). This makes it possible to address a second playback
medium. For example: listening to the radio on the front seats and watching a DVD on the back seats.
Several combination options are available here.
- You may install the other monitor (optional GZVM 700HRXII) to the back seat and connect it to
the DUAL ZONE OUT of the unit.
- Press MODE button on the second monitor RC to change from DVD => SD => AV IN => USB => OFF.
A corresponding icon will be displayed on the first monitor of the unit.
- You can also enter into “DUAL ZONE” menu to select the second monitor playing mode.
- Select DUAL OFF to stop the second monitor playing.
Camera (Rear view)
TV Display
“TV Display” option: press [▲/▼] to pick up the “TV Display”, press the “ENTER” to come into the
setting selection state. Use [▲/▼] to select “Normal/PS screen”, “Normal/LB” or “Wide screen”, and then
press “ENTER” to confirm the selection and press [▲/▼] to quit the “General setup” setting state.
Note: While playing wide screen image, both the right and left edges are cut off and put the image into
the entire screen. “Normal/ps”: with respect to the normal size TV set. It will show black edges at top
“Wide screen”: suitable to apply in wide-screen TV.
OSD Language
Language displayed: option to select ENGLISH or another languages toward OSD.

The GZCR 755MON is able to be used with a rear view camera.
You can connect a camera to the yellow “camera RCA-in”.
If the reverse-cable A2 in the Iso-connector is connected to the 12V pin of the car reverse lamp, the
monitor will show the picture of the rear-camera while driving reverse.
You are also able to switch the camera-mode on, without driving reverse. Please have a look on page 15
to see details.
Note: The monitor will slide out by itself if you engage the reverse-gear.
Closed Caption
For NTSC-mode TV, this option can display or hide the caption on the disc with CLOSED CAPTION ability.
The TV set should be able to support this option in display; otherwise it is unable to operate this option.
Last memory

TV type
This setting enables the selection of the appropriate TV standard. PAL is the customary standard in Password Setup Page
Europe. NTSC is the customary standard in the US and Japan. Only select the MULTI option if your TV
can play back both formats. Here the output signal is automatically adjusted to the standard of the
inserted DVD. If the “MULTI” setting is selected, “AUTO” will be displayed to the left of the selection

The playback control function serves to turn the playback control for VCD and SVCD data carriers on and

Audio language
This enables the selection of the desired dubbed language. If the language selected here is not available

Subtitle
This enables the selection of the desired subtitles. If the subtitles selected here are not available on the
