It’s my immense pleasure to let you know that I, MD.

Faysal Islam has secured admission into the

University Canada West's 2-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. An MBA offers a
comprehensive array of advantages for career progression. It is essential for advancing expertise in
business and management, positioning individuals for leadership roles. I have consistently pursued
opportunities that can enrich my knowledge while opening pathways for a more prominent role in my
career. Acquiring an MBA will endow me with knowledge and abilities in data-driven decision-making,
effective leadership, and communication, all of which are critical competencies for the efficient
operation of any business. Following extensive research, I have chosen to augment my skills and
understanding in the business domain through an MBA, aiming to elevate my career prospects in
Bangladesh. After thoroughly evaluating my options, I have concluded that Canada presents the optimal
setting for my higher education pursuits.

From an early age, I was drawn to problem-solving and numbers, closely observing the business
strategies of various companies. I immersed myself in the literature about esteemed business icons
like Jack Ma, Bill Gates, and Elon Musk, aiming to educate myself in this domain. My incessant
fascination with them compelled me to conduct additional investigations on the subject, and in doing
so, I developed my problem-solving and critical analysis abilities. Also, I honed my abilities in positions
involving strategic relationships, people management, and others; these competencies, coupled with my
insatiable curiosity, profoundly influenced my decision to pursue an MBA. Despite being directed toward
science in my secondary education, my passion lay in the business field. Consequently, I pursued a
bachelor’s in business administration at Patuakhali Science and Technology University, graduating in
2018. My coursework covered diverse subjects such as organizational studies, finance, marketing,
accounting, human resource management, and operations management. During my undergraduate
studies, I attended numerous seminars and workshops in an active capacity. I complemented my
graduation proceedings with a research course in Management Studies and attendanq at a workshop
titled "Career Development Insights," which the university organized. Furthermore, an R for Research
course that I completed through "CHIRAL Bangladesh'' will benefit my research and professional
prospects in the future. These experiences expanded my knowledge of the corporate environment.

My thesis involved close collaboration with top executives, providing insight into their strategic thinking
and leadership skills. A conversation with the CEO, an alumnus of a prestigious MBA program,
underscored the transformative impact of an MBA on his career. His ability to solve complex problems
and make data-driven decisions impressed me significantly. This encounter, alongside my corporate
observations, solidified my resolve to pursue an MBA. I recognized that it would equip me with the
necessary knowledge and skills to excel in a leadership role. After the pandemic, I joined Global
Minerals Trading Limited as a junior HR Executive. During my three-year role as a junior HR executive, I
gained significant expertise in various responsibilities, including managing absences, generating
performance reports, maintaining compensation and benefits data, addressing grievances, and
organizing training programs. I oversaw the implementation of a new employee onboarding program
with the primary objectives of increasing retention rates and augmenting the onboarding experience for
newly hired personnel. By pursuing additional education, I aim to enhance my understanding of human
resources theories and concepts to implement groundbreaking solutions within the professional
environment.

Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, I eagerly sought the right program and country for my long-held dream of
studying abroad. My focus settled on pursuing an MBA, with Canada topping my list. Opting for Canada
isn't just about academic excellence; its institutions boast global recognition for exceptional education
standards, nurturing intellectual growth beyond classrooms. Canada's dedication to inclusivity fosters a
diverse cultural environment, ideal for networking in MBA programs with industry professionals and
peers—a crucial asset for future careers. Its curricula align seamlessly with industry demands, making a
graduate degree from Canada a pathway to stable, well-paying jobs, especially in Bangladesh. The
affordability of Canadian education compared to the US or Australia adds to its appeal. Canada's
multicultural, safe, and welcoming environment appealed to me. Canada's dedication to
multiculturalism is emblematic of a culture that celebrates and values diversity. Canada's emphasis on
fostering a hospitable environment and its stellar reputation for safety align with my values. Canada's
commitment to social justice and human rights is consistent with my ethical framework. It is incumbent
upon me to ensure that every employee is treated fairly and equitably, urging me to adopt a more
global perspective for career acceleration. These factors led me to choose Canada for my graduate
studies and when I found UCW MBA program it was like cherry on top.
