Subject- Application for delay in constitution of an Internal Complaints Committee

I, Ms. Arya Chowdury, as the In-House Counsel for T&L Associates, am writing to you citing
the reasons for the delay in constituting an Internal Complaints Committee.

The reasons for the delay are as follows-

1. Ms. Ananya, holding the position of Senior Analyst, has been a dedicated member of our
team since October 10, 2016, and continues to be an active employee.
2. Ms. Ananya has lodged a formal complaint against Mr. Rohit, a Team Lead in our
organization.
3. Up until this point, there have been no reported complaints against Mr. Rohit since he
joined the company in 2012.
4. Ms. Ananya's complaint alleges that Mr. Rohit has engaged in unwelcome advances and
has made inappropriate comments of a sexual nature, creating an uncomfortable work
environment for her.
5. The Internal Complaints Committee was slated to be constituted by August 15, 2023.
However, we encountered unexpected challenges during the administrative process of
setting up the committee. Additionally, we believe in a thorough and inclusive approach,
leading to an extended period for careful consideration and selection of committee
members possessing the necessary qualifications and experience.
6. On behalf of the company, I wish to convey our commitment to addressing this matter
promptly and responsibly. The Internal Complaints Committee will be officially
 constituted by September 5, 2023, following which we are fully prepared to engage in the
required legal proceedings to ensure a fair and just resolution.
