VERIPOS ORION SOFTWARE

VISUALISATION SOFTWARE
Orion is VERIPOS’ GNSS visualisation software designed
specifically for Dynamic Positioning Operators (DPOs) and
marine crew and has been developed in close association
with VERIPOS’ DP customers across the world.

Designed to provide simplified, clear imagery while ensuring

rapid and straightforward configuration via a touch-
screen interface, the package displays key information
and statistics in such a way as to enable operators to make

or rig. Integrating essential views such as GNSS plots for
both GPS and GLONASS networks and correction delivery
satellites, displays also include time series plots of position
calculations as well as traffic light indicators showing overall
system health.

The application is designed to run independently from the

position calculation meaning the user can use the software
without impacting the position feed to the DP system.

Installation

• Designed to run on VERIPOS LD6 receivers or on a suit-

able stand-alone PC with the VERIPOS LD5 and LD7
receivers;

• Touch-screen interface or mouse and keyboard;

• Heading input and display – will interface to standard

NMEA ($HDT) heading input; and

• User configuration through the configuration display

mode.
