1. Examination before operation
1.1 Oil pipe examination
Make sure that oil inlet and outlet valve on the transformer body (valve 1 and 2
in Figure 1-1) and in the MGA2000-6H (valve 3 and 4 in Figure 1-2) has been turned
on to maximal position before switch on the power supply of MGA2000-6H
Transformer Online Multi-Gas Analyzer. Make sure no leakage at connection of oil
pipe.

1.2 Carrier gas examination
Contrarotate the carrier gas switch valve to the maximal position. Make sure the gas
pressure of carrier gas cylinder >0.5Mpa and output pressure of carrier gas reductor
be 0.3Mpa, as shown in Figure 1-3.

1.3 Power supply examination
Make sure the power supply of MGA2000-6H is AC210～240V。
1.4 SIM card for short message installation
Using a neb or other speculate thing to press the pop-up button (Figure
1-4), the SIM card slot will pop up, put the SIM card into the slot and
push the slot into SMS module (Figure 1-5).

number as the name of monitoring substation in your mobile phone address book.

2. Switch on the power supply

2.1 Switch on the MGA2000-6h main power supply
Move the air switch of MGA2000-6H to ON status (Figure 2-1)

 the data processing board black, the MGA2000-6H system software start up
over and enter standby status.

3. Operation parameter configure

3.1 Network configure
Using cross-over network line to connect the data processing board and laptop
LAN port. (Figure 3-1).

3.2 Start up Internet Explorer，Input the default address of MGA2000-6H
http://192.168.2.222（SR5）、http://192.168.2.223（SR6）in address bar.
3.3 If the default main page ( Figure 3-2) of MGA2000-6H can't appear, please
check the if the IP address and the MGA2000-6H default 192.168.2.222
was in the same major network (Figure 3-3).

3.4 SMS view condition configure
Input the object mobile phone number (Must include area code, as
example 6598950952) ， and select the send mode from Normal and
Exceptional，as shown in Figure 3-4.

Input the SMSC code of SIM card, +6596197777，and save the change. If
change a new SIM card, please inquire your telecom operators for SMS
center.
3.5 Sample parameter configure
The default sample parameter is period sample, once per day, start time is
6:00 Am, as shown in Figure 3-5. The recommendation sample period is once
per day.

3.6 Alarm condition configure
The default alarm condition is concentration alarm as shown in Figure 3-6

3.7 Network address configure
Users can change the MGA2000-6H data processing board IP address, as
shown in Figure 3-7. The changed IP address must be in the same major
network. Please remember the new address, because this change can’t be
resume. The default IP address is not recommended to be changed.

4. Data view and export

4.1 Press Query button on the left navigation bar for MGA2000-6H data as
shown in Figure 4-1.

4.2 Press Export to export the concentration data, and select the save path, as
shown in Figure 4-2.

5. MGA2000-6H server data import

5.1 Start up the MGA2000-6H server, select 【System】→【Import Data】in the
main menu，Import Data dialog box will pop up, as shown in Figure5-1, users can
download spectrum data and concentration data to the software database to view,
analyze and diagnosis the data.

5.2 Select 【Spectrum Data】option list, click 【Browser】and select the spectrum
data file, then click【Import】to import the data file, the operation log will displayed in
【Log】dialog box, as shown in Figure 5-2

5.3 Select 【Concentration Data】option list, click 【Browser】and select the
spectrum data file, then click【Import】to import the data file, the operation log will
displayed in 【Log】dialog box, as shown in Figure 5-3.

6.Data view, analyze, backup and restore

6.1 Select the monitor object in left side list, and click on the 【Historical data】
tab, the history data display page will be loaded as shown in Figure 6-1. It has two
parts the upper data selection area and the under data display area.

6.2 After selecting the monitor object from the left monitor object list, click
【Spectrum Data】, then the spectrum curve will display as shown in Figure 6-2.

6.3 Data Backup
Select【Mangement】→【Data Backup】tab，and click 【OK】to backup data,
after finishing the successful backup dialog box and the backup path information
will display.
6.4 Data Restore
Select 【Mangement】→【Data Restore】tab and select backup file to restore. After
restore, restart the software to take effect the restore.

7. Change carrier gas

7.1 When the carrier gas pressure is less than 0.1Mpa, the SMS module will send the
“ carrier gas low pressure” alarm signal to notice user changing carrier gas.

7.2 When changing the carrier gas, close the carrier switch valve (screw down
clockwise). Take down the reductor output pipe with a spanner, and close the reductor
(anticlockwise). Then move the carrier out, screw off the reductor input side
anticlockwise.

7.3 Take off the protection cap of spare carrier gas, turn on the carrier gas switch
valve for 2 seconds to flush the carrier gas interface, then close turn off the switch.
7.4 Screw to tighten the reductor clockwise
7.5 Connect the reductor output side to MGA2000-6H gas pipe. Then turn on the
carrier gas switch valve, the low pressure side is 0.2Mpa, turn off the carrier gas
switch valve after 10 minutes. Close the reductor (anticlockwise) and record the
pressure meter reading of high pressure side and low pressure side meter. Record the
reading after 30 minutes, if the low pressure side reading difference is less than
0.02Mpa and high pressure side doesn’t change distinctly, it indicates there is no
leakage at the joint. If there is leakage, please check the joints.
7.6 Turn on the carrier switch valve totally (anticlockwise), turn on the reductor low
pressure side to 0.3Mpa.
