In dealing with the trolley problem, one must see the difference between human acts and the

act of a
human. Since the given situation was there is an incoming trolley and, on the way, there are five people
in the main track and one person on the other, if the lever were pulled onto the main track, five people
will die while pulling the lever to the other track will kill a person. The first thing we should see if the
person pulling the lever is conscious of its acts if the person was conscious then it was a human act and
the decision of pulling the lever was based on the moral decision. Given that there was no clear
description of the situation and choosing to pull a lever between the main track and the other, it is
expected that we will sacrifice a person for the sake of the majority, and it is ethical.

The next thing we should see if our decision is perfectly volunteered or imperfectly. If I were in the
situation, I could choose to kill the five because of being frantic and this could lead to indirect volunteer
since I do not know the lever mechanism. But if the intention is to help and good then it may become
ethical
