1. Conduct pre-job meeting.

2. Inform the Driller. Isolate  Trapped pressure 2C M  Bleed of pressure from discharge & suction lines
the PUMP, Bleed of the  Pump turn on while repair 3B HM  Lock/Tag out the pump. Put safety pin on local
trapped pressure, Lock out the  Overcome pressure from 1C L switch of DC motor
pump other pump  Make sure discharge valve is fully closed

3. Remove suction module Remove  Finger/hand injuries 2C M  Hold the wrench with rope & stay away from the
suction module  Pinch points, module 1C L hammer impact
Slings, falling  Make sure lifting equipment in good conditions.

4. Remove piston, liner & Impact wrench,  Finger/hand injuries, 2D M  Ensure the air hose connection fitted with proper
liner bushing hammer back strain clamp & safety whip line.
Hydraulic  Pinch points, air hose 2D M  Use the correct size spanners. Clean hammer
extractor parting handle from grease
 Liner falling. 1C M  Ensure sling tied correctly, do not stay under the
load while transferring the liner.

5. Unbolt discharge flange Hammer  Fingers / hands injuries 2C M  Secure hammer handle with rope & tied up
and remove discharge wrench,  Slip, pinch points 1C L wrench with rope.

6. Remove the discharge Electric hoist,  Pinch points, stuck in 2B M  Never stay under the load

8. Fix back liner bushing Hammer,  Finger/hand injuries, 2D M  Ensure the air hose connection fitted with proper
impact wrench back strain clamp & safety whip line.
 Pinch points, air hose  Use the correct size spanners. Clean hammer
parting handle from grease
 Liner falling.  Ensure sling tied correctly, do not stay under the
load while transferring the liner.

9. Tight discharge flange bolts Hammer  Fingers / hands injuries 2C M  Secure hammer handle with rope & tied up
and discharge connectors wrench,  Slip, pinch points wrench with rope.

11. Install liner and piston Chain block,  Liner falling, back 2D M  Use soft eye belt and lift liner with electric hoist

12. Testing the pump  Leaks under high 2C M  Re-tight all bolts to proper value using torque
pressure wrench, remove all hand tools
 Line burst under high  Check relief valve setting. Personnel to stay away
pressure from the pump
 Line up the pump and use the remote throttle
located in the pump room
