This is another powerful lesson that we’re going to keep repeating. Why? Because
we too often forget how unique we are to God.

1. Host video.

2. Learn the memory verse.

Psalm 139:14 “I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Using this bible verse choose one of your favourite memory-verse activities from
the Activity folder.
Hand out the memory verse (that the God Story team have provided) for the kids
to take home and learn.

3. Activity.

Print out this activity for the kids to complete. I am unique because worksheet

4. Review the lesson.

Ask the kids what they have learned during this lesson Then discuss:
• Have you had a life challenge when you looked at others for courage
rather than within?
• What victories can you remember to use to encourage you in your next
battle?

5. Pray.

Pray very specifically about this lesson.

• Thank God for creating me just as I am.
• I’m sorry for trying hard to be like someone else.
• Help me to value me just like you do.

 SECOND OPTIONAL SESSION

Use this lesson-plan if you have a second timeslot available during the week.

1. Sing the song.

New Wine with lyrics

2. Review the lesson.

Ask the kids what we learned. We want to lead them to say things like:
• We are all unique and gloriously made by God
• We shouldn’t compare ourselves to others for we are unique and valued by God.
• We should celebrate our uniqueness.
• When we live as God uniquely designed us, we will succeed.
Write these answers on the board.

3. Tell the story.

This is an opportunity for the kids to have some fun telling the same Bible story
they watched in the first session – using this link to photos from the video:

4. Pray.

Pray specifically about the lesson reinforcing that we are all unique and that God
has a unique plan for our lives.
