I. Proposal Brief
The Department of Education initiated that this Month of January opens our mind in broadening our
knowledge in creative teaching for the sake of new trend of education using different scheme in video editing
applications. Video editing is important because it is the key to blending images and sounds to make
us feel emotionally connected.
Studies have shown that videos have different benefits from both students and teachers in
teaching/learning such as it creates a more engaging sensory experience than using print materials alone,
videos increase knowledge retention, they greatly assist in the learning of all subjects, and they increase
proficiency in digital literacy and communication and videos seek to change the roles of teachers from lectures
to facilitators. Students today are using educational videos as a tool for learning everything: from basic
skills - like changing a tire - to the latest dance craze. Remarkably, millennials make up 92% of the digital
video viewing audience. Abstract topics that once seemed difficult to teach and learn are now more
accessible and understandable thanks to the availability of effective educational video platforms for
online learning.
Studies have shown that the use of short video clips allows for more efficient processing and
memory recall. The visual and auditory nature of videos appeals to a wide audience and allows each
user to process information in a way that is natural to them. In a nutshell, videos are good teachers.
The morning of January 28, 2022 will be devoted to School LAC Session creating video
