GENERAL OBSERVATIONS:
The teacher started the day with warm greetings followed with a prayer led by
one of the pupils. Checking of attendance and singalong with the video presentation.
Pupils did the energizer very actively.
Introduction of the new lesson was familiarized. The teacher introduced the
lesson to develop skills in making judgement based to their personal point of view
using varied propaganda devices.
Review of the lesson was the real talk. She presented the picture and the
pupils gave their answers by studying the situations given. Pupils shared their different
point of views.
For “What’s New”” in the module, there are varied activities prepared. For
activity 1, guessing game was done to identify the commercial launched in the pictures
while in activity 2, Think, Pair and Share was included. Pupils got their partner and
talked about which commercial they prefer to choose. They gave their stand in front of
the class enthusiastically. Pupils shared their knowledge energetically.
Development phase in the lesson was very exciting. The teacher presented the
video presentation about our country, Philippines. Pupils became familiar in our most
favorite place or spot in our province and inn our locality, Agoncillo. Group activities
followed to promote learners most favorite place in our town like Villa Jovita Resort,
Harvest Farm and Adia Montana Resort. Pupils presented their work and gave the
highlighted words they used to convince their classmates. Best endorser was given a
reward.
For “What is In? in the module, the teacher presented the picture for them to
arouse their interests for the next activities. Persuade, persuade until you Succeed!
And Vocabulary Makes Easy by integrating the ICT and giving the meaning of the
different words. For further explanation of the topic, the teacher presented a picture
that shows evaluative word choices to detect propaganda devices.
Presentation of the advertisement was followed. Discussing the new concepts
one by one for the pupils to learn very well. Pupils participated actively and acquired
more learning. The teacher explained clearly and showed the mastery with the lesson
presented.

GENERAL OBSERVATIONS:

Engagement activities were done. There are various activities given. For activity
1, What’s in the Box and in Activity 2, Photo detectives. Pupils gave their point of view
about the propaganda devices
During group activities, they were grouped according to their field of interest
and the directions were clearly explained. Most of the pupils know and understood the
lessons and made them very alive and active especially in the presentation of their
outputs. For What I CAN do in the module, pupils engaged another activity.
Differentiated instructions were given according to the pupils learning needs. The
teacher communicated and presented material clearly. However, when some pupils
having difficulties, at the end, they were given clarification by the teacher.
The result of the assessment test proved that the teaching-learning was
successfully done. Assignment was given an enrichment of the lesson.
To sum up, the lesson was carried through varied activities given by the
teacher. She facilitates well-planned learning activities appropriate to individual and
group needs. She enables learners to take control of their own behavior and builds
prior knowledge that engage the learners throughout the entire class period.
