5 The roof deck can be accessed safely

6 Are ground floor barricaded with warning signboard (minimum 2 in no.)

7 Cradle can be accessed from roof deck surface (not edge)

8 All movements keys ate tested (from both packets & machine)

9 Limit switches are tested (ok)

10 Overload limit switch in the packet is tested manually

The Maximum Safe Working Load (MSWL) is clearly indicated on the

cradle
12 Sailing on tracks limit switch is tested manually (both directions)

13 Designated safety anchorage points are provided on the cradle

14 No physical signs of wear or damage

15 No exposed electrical wiring

16 All electrical connectors good and secure (not exposed to any damage)

17 No oil leak in all hydraulic connections & the oil level in the tank is OK

18 There are no dents or misalignment in any tracks or runways

19 The floor of the cradle isn’t damaged (view from up & down)

20 The ropes are not frayed, rusted, kinked or un-lubricated

Check that the ropes are rolled up and not caught or snagged on the

platform
There are no signs of extensive corrosion to the cradle, tracks or

runways
23 All guard-rails are in good condition

24 A tow full-body harness is available & in good condition

25 Means to secure tools inside the cradle are available

Check that any wires ropes do not have areas that are flattened, kinked

or have strands of wire protruding
