TNA Report Gumaod
On June 13, 2024, we conducted a training needs assessment at Gumaod Claveria with the members
of the Gumaod Coconut Farmers Planters Association using the attached training needs assessment form.
The participants showed a strong preference for all the trainings we offered, with all of them scoring over
4.5 on the Likert scale where 1 means "least preferred" and 5 means "most preferred". The results (Figure 1)
indicate that there is a high demand for all the trainings that we offer. This implies that the participants are
keen to enhance their skill set and knowledge.
According to Table 1, most of the respondents choose to rank the Solar Panel Installation and
Welding trainings at a higher priority than the others. The results suggest that the training can be arranged in
priority order as Solar Panel Installation > Welding > Electrical Installation and Maintenance > Lathe
Machining > AutoCAD > SolidWorks.
Lathe Machining 6 8 1
Welding 14 7 2
AutoCAD 5 9 1
SolidWorks 4 8 1
Lathe Machining 10 2 4
Welding 15 3 5
AutoCAD 8 2 6
SolidWorks 8 2 5
Most responders as shown in Table 2 want to start training at a beginner level. We can offer training
from beginner to advance to suit all members of the association. Lastly, the respondents also asked for a
computer literacy training. We will tap the IT department for the for the additional training request.
