LMT Process

The main requirements of theses job advertisements are:

a. the advertisement should be in Australia and in English.

b. advertisement should not be in a local newspaper.
c. the title, or a description of the position should be clearly mentioned.
d. the skills or experience required for the position.
e. It should be mentioned that position is full time.
f. advertisements including on websites are expected to have run for at least four weeks.
g. the name of the approved sponsor or, if the approved sponsor has engaged a
recruitment agency for the purposes of the labour market testing, the name of the
recruitment agency.
h. the salary for the position, if the intended annual earnings for the nominated position
are lower than $96,400.00 AUD.

NOTES

• In total 3 advertisements are required. Two job advertisements for the nominated
position can be advertised online or in a newspaper. The third advertisement should
be advertised at https://www.workforceaustralia.gov.au/
• Minimum salary threshold to sponsor an employee is 70,000 AUD
• Once these jobs are advertised, please share copy of these advertisements for our
review.
• Please save copies of these job advertisements on the day these are advertised & on
the 28th day of the job advertisement. It is required to provide evidence to the
Department that advertisements remain live minimum for 28 days.
• We need invoice for the job advertisement & payment receipt.
• We should lodge nomination application within four months of the job advertisements.

mandatory.

• LMT can be done through third parties. It costs $1,100. We can assist you in LMT
process through a third party if you are interested.
• We recommend that LMT should be done through third parties. Although it costs but
save employers from plenty of hassle. Most of the nomination applications are
refused because of LMT. LMT providers make it sure that job advertisements are
done as per requirements of Department of Home Affairs.
