Subject: Request to grant permission to apply for DL examination without Qualifying NET Or SET.

Sir,

With reference to the APPSC notification NO.17/2023 dates 30//12/23 , we request you to grant
permission temporarily for candidates who have not passed APSET or NET and PHD to apply for DL posts
. The Andhra University has not conducted AP SET exam since 2021. Due to this, many students who did
their post graduation remain ineligible for applying DL posts. Previously G.O no 30 dated 28/05/2003
gave exemption for SC, ST candidates to apply for the exam without NET Or SLET and gave a time of two
years to complete NET Or SLET after joining their posts. So,in view of interests of many candidates we
request you to give a temporary exemption to apply for DL posts with out qualifying NET Or SET Or PHD .
Also we request you to iniitiate the Notification for conducting SET exam before conducting DL exam so
that we can qualify the exam and gain eligibility before we appear for DL exam.
