1.4 Main Engine(s)
According to your EEXI Technical File overridable power limitation will be applied to your main engine(s). Please
submit related Onboard Management Manual (OMM). If engine maker is not providing you with respective document,
feel free to use the DNV OMM generator, which you can access from the EEXI tool.
The IEEC will only be issued if an approved OMM is available.
In case ShaPoLi is applied to propulsion systems with a shaft generator, please be aware that the overridable power
limit set point needs to be calculated as MCR_lim (as specified in the EEXI technical file) substracted by P_PTO
(usually auxiliary power P_AE divided by 0.75).
