How to adjust the outline of datum planes


How to resize datum planes
Is it possible to adjust the size of all the datum planes in a model?

Resolution

Datum planes must be resized one at a time


The default datum planes in the start model or template model can be modified so all
newly created parts have the resized datums
1. Select the datum plane
2. Right click > Edit Definition
3. Select Display tab > check Adjust Outline
4. Outline can be changed with the Size option by providing Width and Height values or
with the Reference option (drag handles are also available in the graphics area)
Acceptable values for Reference option are Edged, surface, Axis and
Feature
