COURSE SYNOPSIS

MPOCC Endorsed MSPO MS2530:2022 Lead Auditor Training Course

Introduction: This course is designed for those who have a general background in
Sustainability Standards and have a basic knowledge of the
requirements of the MSPO as well as previous batches of trained MSPO
Lead auditor based on old version.

The objective of this Course is to equip delegates with knowledge and

skills required to perform audits of MSPO Sustainability Standard
against the latest MSPO principles & criteria, statutory requirements
and regulations using the principles of ISO 19011.

This is not intended to be an implementer’s course, or one that will

create an expert in Sustainability legislation, or one that will train to an
acceptable level a delegate with no prior knowledge of the standard or
of sustainability matters. Therefore, prior to attending this training
course, we recommend that participants in this course demonstrate
competence in the established Sustainability management system, for
example the successful completion of a MSPO Awareness Course.

Participants may need to work late days over the 5 days training course.

Participants will be graded on the basis of:

• a continuous assessment of their performance and active
participation against the Course objectives;
• to successfully complete the Course, delegates must obtain at least
a “Satisfactory” Grade in the continuous assessment;

Objective: The programme aims to provide delegates with learning on how to:
• Describe the purpose of MSPO sustainability standard and explain
the five principles of MSPO.
• Explain the purpose, content, and interrelationship of the MSPO
principles and criteria.
• Interpret the requirements of the MSPO standards.
• Plan and conduct an audit based on ISO19011.
• Report on the audit in a manner that adds value to the organization.

Duration: 5 days

Who Should Individuals who would like to enhance their audit knowledge in
