Information in this document applies to any platform.

SYMPTOMS

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Cycle count does not consider the Exception days from calendar when the immediately following day is made an exception day
and calendar is rebuilt.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Inventory > Counting > Cycle counting .> Query for Header > Serial and Schedule tab > Check next day
2. Cycle count entries > See count records created for Exception day

CHANGES

CAUSE

Cycle count request was already scheduled for the next day when the calendar changes were made.
Next date on cycle count header is not updated when the calendar is modified.
Exceptions for the next day / active scheduled request are not taken into account as the calendar changes do not cascade to
cycle count header

SOLUTION

To make calendar changes to a 'currently' scheduled cycle count, please follow below steps -

1. Cancel existing schedule - Go to View Requests > Search for request "Perform Full Cycle Count(Report-set)" and cancel it .

2. BOM > Setup > Calendars > Make changes to the calendar on / off days or exceptions . > Save and Rebuild calendar.

2. Confirm the calendar rebuild request completes successfully .

3. Go to Inventory > Counting > Cycle Count > Query for the cycle count header > Serial and Schedule tab > Ensure the next
date is updated correctly.
