instruction carefully before using the equipment, and pay more attention to the using notes. This
operation manual will introduce the design principles, design criteria, structure, operating norms,
calibration, maintenance, some failure case and solutions, electrical diagrams and so on. If this
operation and manual in reference to various “test requirement”, “standard”, all of them just for
your reference.

Overview

1.Usage
This machine is simulated in daily use conditions, testing the chair to long-term repetitive load
bearing capacity. The durability test chair armchair foot, the test will be a certain shape, quality of
the loading module, in the specified loading form, frequency, respectively arm, chair foot repeated
loading, this test in order to improve the product at any time, eliminate potential quality
problems, improve the durability and reliability of the product.

2.Function:
Arm and leg durability tester is suitable for office chair and other furniture products, determine
the ability of chair armrest structure to withstand vertical pressure and 10° Angle side pressure to

withstand deformation and chair foot strength test, test the durability of chair armrest and chair
foot structure, improve the quality of products.

3.Principle
1.Arm test: he armrest chair is placed on the floor, using a fixed and rotating fixture should be
fixed, adjust the armrest Angle of 10 °, adjust the height of the ball screw to make it to the right,
about manual regulation set up fingerprint, allow it to get stuck armrest, began testing armrest,
through the armrest of deformation degree, structure durability of the chair.

Chair foot strength test: the sample chair is placed on the bottom plate, fixed and anti-rotation

force value, through the deformation degree of the chair foot, understand the structural strength

Equipment Installation
1. Power: Please connect correct power according to nameplate

2. Environment requirement during operation:

Room Temperature from 0-55 ;Relative Humility less than 80% RH;
Far away from severe electromagnetic interference.

3. Instrument should be place on the level surface.

Preparation Before Test
1) Place the instrument on the ground link Electricity and gas ,put the sample on the

2) Select samples fixed in the test frame.
3) Manually turn the adjusting handle, test the height of the component, manually turn the hand
wheel, and adjust the Angle and distance of the corresponding test component separately.

Operating steps
1)After connecting power supply, open the power switch, control interface into main interface (
interface 1).

In interface 1, choose Chinese and English. Click “start” into the main menu interface (as below
interface 2); According to the test requirement of the tested sample, to choose the corresponding
test method.

AB Group: Enter the interface of AB Group Test
CD Croup: Enter the interface of CD Group Test
Parameter Setting: Enter the interface of parameter setting
Manual operation: Enter the interface of manual operation
Force value calibration: Enter the interface of force value calibration
Alarm: Enter the interface of alarm

Click “Manual” enter into the (interface 3), fix the test items on the test stand, according to the
need, the position of each test head is adjusted by manual "forward, backward, up and down". Fix

it after adjusting to meet the test requirements.
Use tip: before use, please adjustment according to the tested product height, width and
Angle; This adjustment please refer to the width and Angle in (interface 3) on the map indicates,
Height within the (interface 3) the "manual" to do adjust up and down.

If force limit is required, select the "Parameter Setting" key in interface 3 to enter interface 4.
“Count Zero” any single set of force values; After clearing, click the corresponding test item of the
corresponding group to set the force limit according to the test needs. When the pneumatic
device applies force to the sample, each force value display box will display the pressure of the
test sample.

Detection sensitivity: For damage detection, example: sensitivity set 30%, test force value is 500N,
during the test, the equipment in the holding state, the force value suddenly drops below 30%
of the set force value, that is, below 150N, the equipment immediately stop testing, the
system determines the sample damage.
Coefficient: used to control the initial thrust of cylinder module during testing. This parameter has
been adjusted to an appropriate value before leaving the factory. If you need to change this
parameter, you only need to fine tune it. If the initial force is smaller than the set force,
increase the value. If the initial force is greater than the set force, the value can be reduced
Backward: The time required for the cylinder to return to its original position;
Force limit: For the protection of force sensor Settings, please do not easily change, in order to
avoid damage to the machine.
Force PV: Real-time force value of sensor.
Force Zero: The force value is cleared before the test to ensure the accuracy of the test data
Manual operation: Enter the interface of manual operation
AB group: Enter the interface of AB Group test
CD group: Enter the interface of CD group test
Menu: Enter the interface of main menu

When manual operation and force value adjustment are completed, click the Menu to return to
the interface (2) Click Group AB to enter the interface (5). Set the parameters of left and right
handrails respectively according to prompts, and set the cycles, A/B force value, hold time, A/B
return time, Rest time and other parameters in turn. After setting, click the count Zero button to
clear historical test data to ensure the accuracy of test data. Then click the start button to start the
test. If there is any abnormality during the test, press the stop button on the controller (or press
the emergency stop button) to stop the test.

NOTE If you only need to test the left and right handrails separately, click the corresponding
boxes of group A and Group B; If you need to test left and right handrails alternately, click
alternating A and B keys; To test the left and right handrails at the same time, click A and B at
the same time; If the test group is displayed in green, the test group is selected; if the test group
is displayed in gray, the test group is not performed.

When manual operation and force value adjustment are completed, click the Menu to return to
the interface (2) Click Group C to enter the interface (6). Set the parameters of left and right
handrails respectively according to prompts, and set the cycles, A/B force value, hold time, A/B
return time, Rest time and other parameters in turn. After setting, click the count Zero button to
clear historical test data to ensure the accuracy of test data. Then click the start button to start the
test. If there is any abnormality during the test, press the stop button on the controller (or press
the emergency stop button) to stop the test.

Click the key of "Force Calibration" in interface (6) to enter the interface of setting force value (as
shown in Figure 7).

*NOTICE!!!
The machine has been professionally calibrated before leaving the factory, the
user receives the machine without needing to calibrate again! Data misalignment
caused by arbitrary adjustment of calibration data is not within the scope of free
calibration service, and the cost of returning to the factory shall be borne by buyer
themselves.

Select different test methods to test the samples, and the machine will stop automatically after
reaching the set number of times;
According to the above steps 1-6 can be used to test different samples, and record the test sample
status.

Note:
Test two sets, the air pressure must ensure that the above 0.6 Mpa, otherwise it will caused test
can not be normal by insufficient pressure.
Set the test force value cannot exceed the standard force.
Use after a period of time, please check whether screw loose.
Speed can be set by the parameter of back time and testing interface of the hold time and cycle
time to adjust, set up time is smaller, the speed faster, on the other hand, will be slow.
Pls after-sales consulting of indicate the details or actual operating abnormal.

Maintenance

Clean: Keep the machine clean. Every time please wipe out the machine with cotton cloth to keep
it clean after finishing test.
Rust Resistance: spray corrosive oil on the surface of the machine every week(wipe out after 2
hours)
lubricating oil: add lubricating oil to machine drive part (such as screw)

1). All customers outside of Guangdong province, whether or not in the warranty period, the
service of transportation and travel expenses paid by the customer.
2).The apparatus try not to be used in the following situations:
A. Vibration, rocking the occasion.
B. Direct sunlight.
C. Hot, dusty, damp places.
D. To ensure safe, AC supply of the machine should be well grounded.
E. Do not use strong solvents (such as: benzene, nitro oil) washing machine.

and electrical shock.
G. Instrument displays the disassemble and debugging can only be measured by the State
Department approved the units and the company, other people not allowed to overhaul.
