01: About Me
Tech-Savvy
I am a tech-savvy person who
likes to integrate technology into
my daily life. I also believe the
future of our society lies in the
field of technology. Recently, I
have coded a ‘Profitability
Calculator’ on Pycharm which I
use for calculating profits on my
carousell. I truly believe that
technology makes life easier for
everyone when applied
correctly.
Adventurous
I am an adventurous person who is
not afraid to take risks and try out
new things as I live by the saying
‘Take risks and prosper’. I think
one way I have demonstrated this
is actually by leading my CCA team
to a 2nd place finish in SAFMC
2022 cat C1. Despite not having
any previous editing experience, I
still took up the role of editor and
we eventually did well in the
competition.
About Me
Future Aspirations
I hope to one day become a tech
entrepreneur just like my
cousin Clinton Li who is the
founder of ORAMA and Hatch
Dev Asia. But I think the main
reason why I want to be a tech
entrepreneur is because I want
to change the world. I am
motivated to use technology to
make the world a better place
and I think that joining the
course would allow me to fulfill
that.

03: Experience (Python Profit Calculator)

● I have learnt some form of basic python and
robotics through Coursera.
● Some modules that I’ve completed include
variables, if else statements, strings, lists, and
how to receive input from the user.
● I coded a simple ‘Profitability calculator’ on
PyCharm by using my current knowledge of
programming which I use to calculate profits
off the store I run on Carousell.
● This calculator can determine whether an
item is profitable or not.
● Refer to the algorithm chart on the left and
screenshot on the next slide for more details
on the code.

03: Experience (Running a Digital Business)

● Started a carousell account because I
wanted to gain experience of what
having a digital business is like.
● I have made a $250 profit off all my
listings.
● I have received 5 star reviews from
everyone that has bought things
from me
● The experience I have gained will be
beneficial for me when I become a
tech entrepreneur

● Took part in mindstorm
programming course from
2016-2018
● This interest for mindstorm
programming stems from my love
for lego since I was young
● I am able to understand and
interpret 2D drawings to create
3D models
● I can program the robot to
identify if there is a obstacle in
front of it, if there is one it will
avoid it and move in another
direction.
