1.đảo ngữ với các trạng từ tần suất, (các trạng từ phủ
định).
Never/Rarely/Seldom/Little/Hardly/Ever +trợ đt+s+v
( không bao giờ, hiếm khi ai đó làm gì).
Ex: Peter rarely studies hard
Rarely does Peter study hard

2.đảo ngữ với câu điều kiện

Meaning: “Nếu như...Thì”
a.câu điều kiện loại 1.
Should+ s+ v, s+will/should/may/shall+ v
Ex: If the weather is nice tomorrow, we will go camping
Should the weather be nice tomorrow, we will go
camping
b.câu điều kiện loại 2.
Were+ s+ to v/Were+ s, s+ would/could/might+ v
Ex: If i had money, I would buy that car
Were I to have money, I would buy that car
Ex: If I were you, I would work harder
Were I you, I would work harder
c.câu điều kiện loại 3.
Had+ s+ p.p, s+ would/should/might +have p.p
Ex: If she hadn’t eaten this cake, she wouldn’t have had
stomach-ache
Had she not eaten this cake, she wouldn’t have had
stomach-ache
Lưu ý: Đảo ngữ ở câu điều kiện chỉ đảo ở mệnh đề “If”.
3.đảo ngữ miêu tả hành động cùng xảy ra sát và kế tiếp
nhau sau 1 lúc
No sooner+ had+ s+ p.p+ than+ s+ past verb
Hardly+ had+ s+ p.p+ when+ s+ past verb
Scaserly+ had+ s+ p.p+ when+ s+ past verb
Ex: No sooner had she come than he left
4.đảo ngữ với Until.
a. cấu trúc It is/was not until (“cho đến khi, mãi đến tận
khi”).
It is not until+ clause/time phrase+ that+ s+v(hiện tại
đơn)
It was not until+ clause/time phrase+ that+s+v( quá
khứ đơn)
S+ v( dạng phủ định)+ O+ until+ time
word/phrase/clause.
Ex: It is not until 5p.m that my sister comes back home
She doesn’t go home until 5p.m
b. cấu trúc Not until đảo ngữ
Not until+ clause/time phrase+ trợ đt/tobe+ s+v
Ex:Not until my Dad became home did I eat the dinner
