COMMERCIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Prices : Prices are FOR site Basis

GST : Prices are Exclusive of GST & same shall charge extra.

Freight : Prices are exclusive of freight charges

Terms of Payment : 30% advance along with order & balance against Proforma Invoice
before dispatch

Insurance : Prices are Inclusive of Insurance charges

Approvals : Approvals from concern authorities shall be to your account.

Installation : The installation done, If any, should be through Authorized and

Approved Vendor failing which there will not be any liability against
the company under any circumstances

Delivery : Within 12 to 15 WEEKS from the date of receipt of your purchase

order along with advance and approved drawings (if applicable).
The delivery period is quoted in good faith and is subject to force
majeure conditions and unforeseen delay which is beyond our /our
manufacturers’ control.

Warrantee : The offered Engine & Alternator is warranted for a period of 2 years
(For DG Sets) from the date of dispatch OR 5000 Hrs. of operation from the date of
(Prime Power Sets) commissioning, whichever is earlier against any manufacturing
defect / defective materials only. However, electrical and other
proprietary items would be covered as per their respective
manufacturer’s standard warranty clause. The warranty will not
cover the normal wear and tear or damages caused by accident,
wrong handling and improper maintenance.

Warrantee The offered Equipments are warranted for 12 months from the date
(For other of commissioning or 15 months from the date of supply, whichever
Equipments) is earlier. The warranty is against manufacturing defects or
faulty workmanship

Validity Our offer shall remain valid for a period of 15 DAYS from the date of
our offer and subject to our confirmation thereafter.

Scope of Supply Our offer is confined to whatever is specifically included or

stipulated both in technical and commercial clauses and is subject to
change as may be agreed upon during subsequent discussions.

Exclusions from our  CIVIL WORKS - Any major or minor civil works, including
scope of Supply (For excavation for foundation, earth pits and exhaust pipes. We
DG Sets) will provide recommendations for the foundation.

 CABLES & PIPINGS - Power & Control Cables, Cable

terminations are not included in our scope of supply. Water
piping and Fuel piping is also not included in our scope of
supply.

 STORAGE - DG Set shall be shipped with first fill of lub oil

and batteries in uncharged condition. Charging of batteries
shall be done by the customer.

 SAFETY EQUIPMENTS - All safety equipments like rubber

mats, safety boards, fire extinguishers, fire buckets with
stand etc.

 APPROVALS - SEB, CEIG (Including drawing approval and

testing of meters) PCB, explosive etc.

 ERRECTION OF THE GENSET - All necessary works related

with Erection of the Genset to your account.

 OTHERS - Any other works not specifically mentioned in our

quote.

Order Cancellation In case of cancellation of any order, all direct / indirect expenses
incurred by the company in organizing the ordered equipment shall
be recovered from the customer.
These cancellation charges will be as above or minimum 10% of the
order value, whichever is higher.

Arbitration In the event of any disputes or differences arising between the

parties out of or relating to the validity, construction, meaning,
operation or effect of this offer, or any amendments or other
documents relating to this offer, or the breach of the terms of any
document agreed to between the parties, the same shall be referred
to Arbitration, as per the provisions of the Arbitration and
Conciliation Act 1996 and the arbitration proceedings shall be held
at Delhi / New Delhi.

 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF CUMMINS POWERED 1500KVA D.G. SET

DIESEL ENGINE:

Manufacturer: M/s. Cummins India Ltd., Pune

Engine model KTA 50-G8-I, 16 cylinders, vertical 4 stroke cycle, Water cooled, turbo
charged after cooled developing 1735 BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS:5514.
The engine shall be provided with electrical starting arrangement and shall give the
electrical output of 1500KVA/ 1200KW at 0.8 power factor, 415 Volts at the alternator
terminal.

POWER COMMAND 3.3 CONTROL SYSTEM FOR GENSET

The Power Command Control is a microprocessor based generator set monitoring, metering,
protection and control system to meet the demands of today’s engine driven Gensets. The
integration of all control functions into a single control system provides enhanced reliability &
performance, compared to conventional Genset control system. These control system have been
designed and tested to meet the harsh environment in which Gensets are typically applied. The
Power Command Genset control is a premium paralleling, full featured paralleling Genset control
system.

ESSENTIAL ACCESSORIES:

One set of essential accessories shall be supplied with each D.G. Set. This set of accessories
shall comprise of the following:

BASE FRAME:

One no MS Fabricated adequately machine Channel Common Base Frame with lifting facility,
pre-drilled foundation holes suitable for permanent installation on concrete foundation for
direct grouting or on anti-vibration mountings which will be suitable to receive the offered
engine and alternator duly coupled through a flexible coupling. A suitable coupling guard
shall also be provided.

FUEL TANK:

One no Daily fuel tank of 990 LITRES capacity for each DG set made out of 2 mm thick MS
sheet complete with inlet and outlet connections, drain plug, manhole, etc. & suitable for
mounting on floor with mounting pedestals. Wire-braided hoses shall also be supplied with
fuel tank.

BATTERIES:

For electrical control circuit of 24 volt DC, 2 Nos. batteries of 12 volts 160 Ah of Cummins
make – Pulse lite maintenance free batteries for electrical starting of each DG Set.
