12. I didn't know anything about construction, and we'd only be where for two weeks.

15. The volunteers and I got to meet the family that to be moving into the home we were going to build the day
16. This family of five was lived in a one-room hut.
17. It was quite clear that this place was not big enough house all the family members.
18. In addition to that, there were jars everywhere to catch every the rainwater dripping from the roof.
19. With all these jars on the floor, there was hardly any space sits, let alone lie down.
20. It was shocked to see how they were living.
21. After meeting they, I felt even more determined to build them a beautiful home.
22. There were clear skies and temperatures overly 30˚C that first week.
23. Under the burning sun, we carrying bricks, mixed concrete, and dug holes for pipes.
24. We had to slowly take apart the family's hut to get most bricks and other materials for the new house.
25. Every morning, the family and their neighbors would provide breakfast everyone.
26. Then, all of us-the volunteers, community members, and the family-would start work.
27. We would share food and stories by time to time.
28. When evening came, we were all far tired and sweaty, but we were happy.
29. After another week, the home was finally finishing.
30. On the lasts day, we had a party to celebrate the completion of the new house.
31. It was the best way to end such incredible experience.
