Nesting Birds

In Accordance with the Wildlife and


Countryside Act It is Illegal to Kill
Birds or Disturb Nesting Birds or
Damage Their Active Nests or Eggs.

Bird Nesting Season Usually Takes Place


Between March and September Each Year.

While birds usually nest in trees or hedges


they can also be found nesting on the
ground, inside equipment, amongst
materials, in cabins, on structures etc.
You MUST NOT

Make the Right Choices • Kill, injure or capture any wild bird
• Take, damage, destroy or disturb a nest or eggs
• Check that no nesting birds or active of any wild bird
nests are present before carrying out any • Move any machinery, scaffolding or equipment if
