Chapter 8 Clean and Healthy

1. What should we do to keep our body clean?


 We can keep our body clean by:
- Taking showers
- Washing face and hair
- Wearing clean clothes
- Keeping nails shorts
- Brushing teeth.

2. How do we brush our teeth?


- We brush our teeth in an up and down motion.
- Reach inside our mouths to brush the inner teeth.

3. What happens when you do not brush your teeth?


 Food may get trapped between our teeth and cause our teeth to decay. We can get a
bad toothache. It is very painful.

4. When should we brush our teeth?


 We should brush our teeth:
- When we wake up in the morning
- Before we go to bed at night.
- After eating food.

5. Why we need to do the exercise?


 We need to do the exercise because exercise can make us grow healthy and strong
too.
6. What should we do before exercise?
 We should warm up before exercise.

7. List down some sport that can be done alone.


 Swimming, riding, bicycle, running.

8. List down some sport that can be done in pair.


 Tennis, table tennis, boxing, ping pong.

9. List down some sport that can be done in team.


 Football, basketball, volley ball.

10. What kind of food that can be bad for our health? Give some examples.
 Food that has too much oil, salt and sugar can be bad for our health.
Example: cake, sweets, pizza, potato chips, French fries, lollipops.

11. What kind of food that prevent us from falling sick? Give some examples.
 Eat more vegetables and fruits can prevent us from falling sick.
Example: Apples are good for teeth, Carrots are good for eyes.

12.How can we keep our bodies healthy?


 We can keep our bodies healthy by:
- Eating healthy food.
- Exercising.

13. List downs healthy food.


- Vegetables
- Fruits
- Milk
- Water
