DESCRIPTION PACKAGING
Methylated Spirit is derived from ethyl alcohol (pure 5L
alcohol) that has been treated so as to prevent its 20L
consumption as a beverage. This process is known as
Denaturing and therefore in technical terms Methylated
Spirits is Denatured Alcohol.

Methylated Spirit "coloured" Product is manufactured

from 94% Ethyl Alcohol and 6% Water to which
Methanol at 2% volume is added to denature the
alcohol, plus a dye and an adverse flavouring.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Widely used in domestic and industrial areas for
cleaning. Generally used for removing light oils and
greases, pen marks etc from upholstery, walls, doors
and most other washable surfaces. Apply by spray or
wiping. Used in the food and catering industry, in meths
burning food warmers and stoves.
