Brailliant BI 14

FUNCTION AND PURPOSE:

The Brailliant 14 (BI14) is a small, easy-to-transport braille device
that was designed to improve proficiency without compromising on
the ergonomic needs of the students with BVI. The device has an
internal memory and can be used when not connected to an IOS
device. With the Brailliant Sync app found on the App Store, the
next time the Brailliant connects with an iOS device, all notes that
were taken earlier are immediately synced and can be found in the
notes folder. This tool can be used as an aid to help students with
BVI with written work, ensuring they have access to the same
educational opportunities as their peers.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Double-check:
Is the toggle on the back switched to the right?
Is the iOS device’s Bluetooth turned on?
Is the Brailliant BI 14 turned on? (Sometimes, it falls
asleep; are you able to see any braille on the braille
display? If not, turn the device on again).

Also, try:
If you see Brailliant BI 14 in the list of connected
braille displays but it is just not connecting, select the
“more information” button next to the Brailliant BI
in the Braille menu and select “forget.” Try again.
You can also try turning the iOS device and the
