Intro: An increasing number of students go overseas to attend unversity. In my opinion, the disadvantages of
this trend surpass the advantages.

Studying abroad can help students become more independent. This is because they will have to live on their
own without parental support, and do part-time jobs to cover living costs . Consequently, being highly
independent might help them to become more self-reliant when they have to deal with challenges or
difficulties in the real life.

working environments quickly.

- Đi du học một mình => gặp vấn đề về tâm lý như sốc văn hoá và nhớ nhà. => trong trường hợp học
sinh không hoà nhập được với bạn bè => học sinh có thể tự cô lập bản thân => hệ quả: trở nên trầm
cảm => ảnh hưởng xấu đến việc học ở trường.

Going abroad to attend university alone can make students suffer from mental issues, such as culture
shock and homesickness. If they are not able to adapt to a new environment, they may isolate themselves and
suffer from deprression. As a result, this will have a negative effects on / negatively affect their study at school.

Going overseas to enter university in developed countries, such as the United States or Australia can put
financial pressure on students’ families. This is because tuition fees and living costs in these countries are very
expensive. Consequently, this distract them from their study at school and lead to bad academic performance.
