One of the Saptrishi, Maharishi Agastya was the older sibling of Sage Vashistha, KulGuru to King

Dasharath. The gods asked Agastya Rishi to leave Kashi and migrate to the south, where he
eventually resided.

One of the extraordinary sages is Agastya Rishi. The fundamental method for generating energy is
based on the time-honored teachings of Rishi Agastya. His vast understanding of various topics,
including the formula for creating a battery, was reflected in the code he created. In the code,
Agastya has given a number of hypotheses for producing clean energy and supplying electricity using
renewable resources. The modern sophisticated batteries that we utilize also adhere to related
notions.

The book 'Agastya Samhita' was written by Sage Agastya. This book has sparked a lot of debate.
Surprisingly, this book contains sources related to power generation.

Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb, writes in one of his books, "one night I slept while
reading a Sanskrit sentence. That night, in my dream, I realized the meaning and mystery of that
Sanskrit word that helped me make bulbs".

The Agastya Samhita depicts the formula for creating an electric battery and how water can be
separated into oxygen and hydrogen. According to one of the Agastya Samhita texts-

Which signifies, "Take an earthenware, put the copper sheet in it. Cover it with copper sulfate first,
then with moist sawdust. To avoid polarization, place a mercury-amalgamated zinc sheet on top of
the sawdust. The interaction will generate an energy known as Mitra-Varuna. This current will
separate the water into Pranavayu and Udanavayu. A chain of 100 containers is said to produce a
tremendous amount of force.

In the above verse-

Tamrapatram - Copper Sheet

Mitra - Cathode
Varuna - Anode
Shikhigriva - Copper sulfate
Dastaloshta - Zinc
Mitravarunashakti - Electricity

Agastya Samhita also describes how to use electricity for electroplating. Rishi Agastya is also known
as Kumbodbhav (Battery Born) because he invented the method of polishing copper, gold, or silver
using a battery .
