PREFACE
We express our gratitude to Allah SWT for His blessings that have enabled us to complete
the English module titled "English For Communication Studies." This module was
designed and developed based on English language materials with the objective of
fulfilling the assignments for the English for Specific Purposes course, instructed by
Emma Rosana Febriyanti, M. Pd. The purpose of this training module is to provide
educational resources for students who wish to learn basic English in the field of light
engineering, thereby making the learning process more focused, structured, diverse, and
meaningful. We hope this module will deliver high-quality services to vocational students
at FISIP Lambung Mangkurat University.
This well-organized learning module is divided into several learning activities within each
subchapter, with some content aligning with the current curriculum. The intention is to
facilitate students in learning English effectively, which will be beneficial for their future
careers. Additionally, it aims to assist teachers in planning, directing, and evaluating the
learning process more effectively, thereby enhancing the quality of educational services in
vocational high schools. Quality service will help students experience the benefits and
motivate them to strive for a better future.
We acknowledge that this learning module is not perfect and welcome constructive
