1 Create the easel base with a 25.5x10.5cm
piece of gold mirri card, scoring across it
at 6.5cm and 13cm. Add the soft white base to
the 13cm section, sticking the Christmas Cheer
round poetry topper in the middle and a foiled
border towards the bottom.

2 Make up the box part of the card by cutting

two 10x10cm squares of gold card. Cut off
the side sections from one of the Christmas Cheer
card bases, then use gold card to make two new
side pieces the same length and depth as the box
shape plus 1cm flaps on the long edges.

of the front of your card base. Cut the aperture
into an 18x18cm piece of gold mirri card and a
17.5x17.5cm piece of patterned card from the
Christmas Wonder Luxury Topper set.

2 Layer the gold mirri card and patterned

card onto your card front. Make a small
hole in the top of the foiled frame and stick
around the aperture with foam pads.

3 Cover the inside of your card with a sheet

of patterned paper that shows through the
aperture. Add a border strip to the top of the
card front with foam pads.

THESE CLEVER CENTRE cards
look very impressive but are
surprisingly straightforward to
make. All you need is a piece of
A4 paper and some shaped dies.
The oversized central panel is
a great way to showcase your
Christmas stamps, and you
can use coordinating papers
to decorate the side panels.
Découpage scenes also look
great on the front – just change
the shape to suit the design.
The key is to carefully position
your die-cutting plates before
running the sandwich through
your machine – line them up
with the scorelines so you don’t
