A raucous family reimagining of the epic Arthurian legend.

Sir Gawain needs to level up. Mocked at the round table for being the worst knight in King
Arthur’s court, Sir Gawain accepts an invitation to play a deadly game with a mysterious
visitor... The Green Knight

Join Sir Gawain on her treacherous - and hilariously eccentric - journey. Face down
wolves, giants, and jelly terrors. Battle dangerous foes. Face the Final Boss. Best The
Green Knight!

Expect colourful characters, surprisingly decent sword fighting, and a lot of laughs for
everyone. So, join us on a quest to discover what it truly means to be a knightly knight!

The Audience Experience

The Wild Geese Team have over 15 years of experience creating active and immersive
theatre for children. With accessibility and inclusivity at the heart of everything we do,
this epic tale incorporates interactive storytelling techniques that bring children into the
world of the play. We put our audience at the centre of the action. We rely on audience
contributions that range from playing key characters, to learning chants and actions. We
want to ensure access to all children, regardless of ability, background or education.
Inclusivity is at the core of what we do. To facilitate this, all of our performances are
relaxed.

Format

Our Shows:
- Are for the family, and suitable for children aged 5+.
- Are built around action-packed performances from professional actors, classic
storytelling techniques, new music and participation.
- Include an activity pack that can be sold or given away, depending on our arrangement
with the venue, which has fun creative writing, drawing, and imagination exercises for our
audiences to do after the show.
- Cultivate young people’s empathy and reasoning skills.
- Encourage young people to express themselves.
- Encourage young people and their adults to contribute to a creative community built
around the show.
- Require just 3hrs Get In & 2hrs Get Out.
- Have been curated by professionals with over 15 years experience in the field.

- Ideally performed end-on with a playing space of no less than 4m x 4m.

- Ours shows require easy access for our performers to interact with the audience.
- We're entirely self contained. We don't use lighting and tour our own sound equipment.
Where needed, we can provide our own portable power.
