I'm a little leery of the online dating scene but here goes...

I'm a guy who is fun

to be around. I mean making people laugh is a favorite past time. I'm not too proud
to laugh at myself. For example, one time I was talking (and laughing) about
someone slipping on ice (I know, kinda mean). Well later that day, with the same
group of friends, I grabbed my car door handle and I slipped on my butt, trying to
prevent my fall, I was still holding onto the door handle and ended up sliding my
whole body completely underneath my car... up to my neck (picture it like I'm a
cartoon character and it's gotta at least make you smile)! Karma, I know.

I love to travel and throw caution to the wind, even in foreign countries. Like the
time traveling in Europe via train, with a group of friends, we rode in a sleeper
car. I wanted to be sure to get rested so I took an Ambien. I was woken up by the
German passport border police (pretty sure that's not what they're called) which I
had no recollection of. I found out the next morning I was saying things that
almost got me arrested. (if you've ever taken an Ambien and been woken up, you'll
know why I've sworn off any sleeping drugs since then). They still laugh and tease
me about me that drug, still to this day. I'm all about the adventure, laughter and
fun, at my expense if necessary, hahahah.

I tend to surround myself with people who are REAL, who are open, honest, positive,
a bit on the sarcastic side, and can laugh at themselves. If you're too sensitive
or not confident with yourself to be teased at times, I'm probably not going to
promote that. I mean, I'm not cruel or inappropriate, just like to laugh... I
promise not to embarrass you... I am ultra sensitive to social setting and how to
act. I am the type that you could be proud to be on the arm at a classy event or
the one to be the one with at a party or with family and friends.

I know the importance of family. I have wonderful children and believe I have
positively influenced their lives, despite the ups and downs of parenting. If
you've seen my pictures... those are genuine smiles...

I enjoy sports as well as the arts. I have a bit of a singing and dance background.
I was on a talent scholarship in college for my vocal and dance skills, but I
wished I was on scholarship for my High School football skills... I played
quarterback in HS... Let's just say, I am well rounded, a renaissance man, who
actually appreciates the arts. I also enjoy almost anything outdoors, golf,
mountain biking, camping, hiking, skiing, skydiving (I think), anything
adventurous. I am not a hunter or fisherman, but I do enjoy shooting weapons. I
also have a passion for working out at the gym (although you may not be able to
tell in my Picts... Let's just say I have a trainer that evidently needs to push me
a little harder).

I know this isn't my favorite way to present myself... I come across much better
and genuine than this profile is making me sound. If you knew what I did for a
living, you'd understand that this may sound glossier than I really am. I'm NOT
perfect, but I try to be a good person. I believe in living each day with passion
and owning my mistakes.
